MEET ORIT

APPROACH

A somatic, trauma-informed path toward healing

In my work, the body is not an afterthought — it’s the doorway.
Instead of asking you to talk your way through pain, we create space for your nervous system to soften, settle, and come back into balance. When your body feels safe, clarity, choice, and emotional resilience return naturally.

This approach isn’t about pushing or performing.
It’s about listening — to your pace, your signals, your boundaries, and your body’s quiet intelligence.

What this looks like in session

  • Gentle movement and grounding practices

  • Breathwork to support regulation

  • Mindfulness and interoception

  • Creative expression and imagery

  • Somatic tracking to help your body move from survival to safety

These modalities weave together in a way that helps your system shift from bracing to trusting — so change feels possible and sustainable.

Clients often tell me they finally feel understood, not rushed, and able to access a calmer, more connected version of themselves they didn’t know was possible.

At the heart of my work is a simple belief:

Your body already knows how to heal — together, we help it remember.

I’m Orit Zabari, a somatic, trauma-informed therapist who helps sensitive, overwhelmed, and emotionally reactive people reconnect with their bodies and feel more grounded inside themselves.

My approach is warm, attuned, and deeply collaborative.
I don’t believe in forcing change — I help your body feel safe enough to allow it.

Over the last 15 years, I’ve supported adults, teens, and families through anxiety, depression, trauma, loss, and emotional dysregulation. My training includes dance/movement therapy, integrative somatic trauma therapy, trauma-informed yoga, breathwork, mindfulness, and creative expression — all woven together in a way that meets your nervous system, not overrides it.

Clients often tell me they finally feel understood, not rushed, and able to access a calmer version of themselves they didn’t know was possible.

My work is grounded, compassionate, and rooted in the belief that your body already knows how to heal — together, we help it remember.
